International Conference for Eurythmists Eurythmy Therapists Creative Speech Artists and anyone interested

All eurythmists, eurythmy therapists, formative speech artists and all those interested, in speech and movement, are warmly invited to the international conference in 2018: ‘Speech-Movement’ at the Goetheanum. We look forward to intensive days of sharing, meetings and further education.

The subject of speech and language touches us, every day in so many ways, it is a formative force in the way we relate to one another and it builds us as human beings. In eurythmy and formative speech it is the bearer of artistic expression, it is the agency in eurythmy and speech therapy.

There will be morning lectures and then demonstrations in various languages in plenum. The different aspects of the conference will be shared in over 30 workshops, also professionally mixed workshops. We have the ‘market’ where you can experience many colleagues with their own particular slant on speech and movement. Other interesting themes can be found under the ‘free initiatives’. There will also be a report on the new edition (in German) of the book: ‘Eurythmy as Visible Speech‘. Two eurythmy performances (Goetheanum Ensemble and Stuttgart Else-Klink-Ensemble) as well as three mixed programs conclude each day.

The Easter 2017 and Easter 2018 Section newsletters are a form of preparation for this conference.

The preparation group:
Stefan Hasler, Angelika Jaschke, Hanna Koskinen, Ulrike Wendt, Michael Werner, Agnes Zehnter
